I am at the beginning of my coding journey. This I am at the beginning of my coding journey. This is a long-awaited and anticipated journey, five years in the making. Why five years? Life just got in the way. The focus wasn’t there. But I’m showing up, right now. And I’m in it for the long haul.

I will show up and document. It reminds me of an article I read by Gary Vee entitled “Document. Don’t Create”. Just creating real-life, unfiltered content for your journey is what works. My coding journey posts won’t be romantic, perfect, flowery, or specially curated. But they will be my personal experiences for that day or week. They won’t be your typical content creation type of posts but more ‘time-stamped’ style, showing my process. The keys for me will be practicality and consistency as I embark on this self-taught voyage.

I’m excited to see what today, tomorrow, next year, and the next year…you know the rest.

I will be consistent on my Instagram posts and my online blog posts. My blog post will give more detail and insight.

I wanted to mention that this is another resource I wanted to mention that this is another resource that I will be reading. I bought this python book about 4 years ago but never opened it up. I think I will read a bit of it tomorrow along with a couple of other resources.

Hello 👋🏾My name is Quinnie. I will be docum Hello 👋🏾My name is Quinnie. I will be documenting my journey to learning code. I’m really excited to get started because I have actually put this off for about 4 years. I look forward to seeing my progress, particularly at the end of 2024. I am not really certain of where to start but I think just starting is the key to success. I bought a couple of programs on Udemy. One is 100 Days of Code: The Complete Python Pro boot camp. The other program is The Complete JavaScript Course 2024: From Zero to Hero. So I will see how learning two at the same time works for me. I will make sure to do lots of updates!•
